ABSTRACT
I was with Mother Ann when a young man came in, having peach & plum stones in his hand. He asked Mother if he might plant them. “Yea,” said Mother; “Do all your work as though you had a thousand years to live, & as you would if you knew you must die tomorrow.” At another time, she renewed the promise given by Jesus Christ, saying “If you are faithful to follow Christ in the regeneration, you will receive now in this time, a hundred fold of houses & brethren & sisters & mothers & children & lands, & in the world to come, eternal life. You will be blessed in your going out & coming in, & in your basket & store.”
