ABSTRACT
Ebenezar Osgood 1 (my husband) and my-self lived in Leominster, Worcester County, Mass. and belonged to the Congregational church, and remained in full comunion till sometime in January 1782. Ebenezar having {heard} of a strange people called shakers went to see them and was convicted by their testimony confessed his sins and set out to walk the narrow way of self denial and the cross, this excited my feelings to great opposition but by the advice of some of my unbelieving Neibours I became more calm and thought of going to see for myself, accordingly I did.
