ABSTRACT

Pierre Teilhard de Chardin wrote of his Christian faith with great ardor, yet he continued to speak of his love for the world/universe. He discovered that he was in the earth and of the earth, and it would remain at the basis for all he would say and determine his understanding of the environment. In his direct experience of the cosmos, he believed he found an 'Absolute' that drew him and yet remained hidden. For him, fundamentally Life has been building ever more complex structures through the ages.
