ABSTRACT
From its beginning, air transport has been a challenging, growing and dynamic industry. There is no reason to think that similar challenges, growth and dynamism will not continue. We should never forget that all of powered flight began in the 20th century and that in the 21st, we can anticipate developments in air transport that are hard to imagine today. Two cartoons that have been favorites of ours for a long time help develop a perspective regarding aviation and the extraordinary industry that is truly changing our world.
