ABSTRACT

This part conclusion presents an overview of the key concepts discussed in the preceding chapters. The part illustrates the meaning and the momentum of positive relationships in work groups and communities. It suggests that certain conditions help create positive relationships in groups and communities, and that those conditions are in turn supported by various structures. The part also illustrates the various ways in which members of groups and communities can perform acts that create an abundance of positive connections with one another. It offers a more literal, physical sense of boundaries in describing the centers, such as the hiring hall, around which the community forms. The part suggests some future directions for research into specific areas related to positive groups and communities.
