ABSTRACT
Work-related road safety has increasingly been seen as an area offering opportunities to help reduce the road toll in a number of countries in recent years, for a whole range of societal, business, legal and cost reasons. In the UK, Australia, New Zealand and the USA there have been many programmes and initiatives implemented by Government agencies, researchers and industry (see for example Murray et al 2002 and NIOSH 2004).
