ABSTRACT
Journeying to an old camp reveals much about the nature of campsteading. Here, at the outset, two cases illustrate a series of points regarding experience, place attachment, remembering, exploration, and way-finding. These five things are complexly interrelated as features of the form and meaning of people’s involvement with old camps.
