ABSTRACT
Margaret Battin is a professor of philosophy and internal medicine at the University of Utah. She is the author of Ending Life: Ethics and the Way We Die (2005), The Least Worst Death (1994), Ethics in the Sanctuary (1990), and Ethical Issues in Suicide (1982). She is the coeditor of Medicine and Social Justice: Essays on the Distribution of Health Care (2002).
