ABSTRACT
Lake was sworn on 30 Mar 1688 to attend the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland. This was renewed on 16 Jan 1691/2 and at the same time a warrant was issued to provide all the trumpeters serving in Ireland with a new trumpet. He was dead by 10 Jan 1694/5, when James Truelove was admitted in his place.
