ABSTRACT

This chapter considers some dilemmas that arise in the context of education and training. They concern cheating, turning in cheaters, correcting a grading mistake in one’s favor, and using study drugs. It also analyzes two cases of company-sponsored training, one in which an employee prefers not to return to the sponsoring company after earning an MBA, and one in which an employee wants to accept a training opportunity even though he will soon leave the company. It concludes by asking whether one should teach material that can be put to unethical uses.
