ABSTRACT
This chapter will show some properties of the LED, the plastic optical fiber (POF), and the silicon photodetector when applied as a current sensor. We will study the sensitivity of these properties under temperature variation either individually or when these three components are put together. Additionally, we will show how to use a POF in a high voltage environment.
