ABSTRACT
Seven sources are presented up to the ninth century in this chapter. They are discussed according to the indicated parameters: the arrangement of the repertory, the genres included and the liturgical calendar. The Diary of Egeria/Sylvia, the Armenian and Georgian Lectionaries, Ryland Papyrus 466, Garrett 24 are among the sources discussed.
