One of the increasingly willing to use the tools in order to encourage car drivers to change the main means of transport for public transport is the introduction of the possibility of free use of its services.

The paper describes examples of cities that have implemented at home free public transportation, and the effects (benefits and costs), what solution it brought both to the bodies that organize public transport as well as for users. Then described an example of a city that could be an area where it could introduce such organizational solutions, and the article ends with presentation of the survey population.
