ABSTRACT

Chitosan is decomposed into glucosamine by the action of chitosanase or lysozyme * ., and glucosamine promotes appetite. In this context, at first, we explain the phenomenon of appetite. Professors Ranson and Lacer Linton of Northwestern University in the United States were the first to propose the mechanisms behind how do we feel stuffed and hungry, respectively. At that time, gold therapy was performed on patients with rheumatism. Gold therapy is a method of treatment in which patients drink a substance made of glucose particles coated with gold. However, surprisingly, patients treated with gold therapy began to gain weight. When the brain of a dead patient with rheumatism was accidentally examined, it was observed that some of the cell groups of the hypothalamus in the brain were destroyed.
