ABSTRACT

Creating a game-changing approach to disruptions has been my quest for many years. It has been driven by my passion to make sense of airline data that doesn’t say much about the intricacies of things that shaped them, unknowingly contributing to undesired changes in planned operations and hard-to-identify operational losses. Informed by my diverse industry experience spanning strategy to operations and information technology, and experience in complex decision making, my work has centred on bridging the information gap that cuts off system decision makers from operational reality.
