ABSTRACT
In the early seventies consciousness expansion was the password and growth centers were flourishing. The images reflect the way things are at a feeling level. While people are asleep and dreaming, their self-healing machinery propels them into a realm where feelings are displayed honestly. They shape images that may frighten or delight them, but that is not their intent. All this changes again when they open their eyes and re-engage with the world about them. Subtly and often unconsciously, values other than truth and honesty tend to come into play. Before a dream group gets started it must be clear about a number of issues. Presumably the members have joined together because they are interested in sharing their dreams with others in order to get some help with them. But working with dreams involves dealing with the most private and intimate form of communication people are capable of experiencing, and so there must be safeguards.
