ABSTRACT

Dream work, is essentially the effort to move into unexplored areas of one's personality. Some people can train themselves to wake up during dreaming periods. It is important to record a dream as close to the time of its occurrence as possible. The longer the delay in getting it down on paper the greater the opportunity for taking liberties with it, for losing some of the detail, and even forgetting sections of it. Throughout human history people have focused much more on worldly accomplishment than on the state of their inner life. It takes work against resistance to transform the strange scenario of a dream into something understandable and meaningful. The best way to start is to focus on those feelings conveyed by the imagery and action of the dream. Sexual imagery is a prominent aspect of people's dream life because of the important role that sex plays in their lives.
