ABSTRACT

Up to now our emphasis has been on the imagery of dreams and on how to respond to that imagery. Let’s look now at the predicaments we are apt to dream about: the situations containing varying degrees of tension that cannot be resolved immediately. All of us have to learn to come to terms with authority figures, with the need to establish our own identity, and, eventually, with the need to adapt to loss or separation. Predicaments in our lives may arise in any of these areas.
