ABSTRACT
This chapter addresses the ethics of producing and consuming the products of small-scale animal agriculture. The aim is to outline some of the philosophical questions that need to be answered and empirical data that needs to be considered when discussing the morality of producing and consuming these products. The chapter concludes with a suggestion for how to think about the morality of small-scale animal agriculture in the context of thinking about the morality of the practices of modern life more broadly.
