Conclusion

The conclusion interprets the dialectic of the title and sub-title. This is a book about ‘the persisting problem of evil’. Namely, the existential challenge – of perfect truth-as-openness – which still persists even after the ‘death of “God” ’. That is to say, even after all the metaphysical distortions arising from philosophic and evangelistic impatience have been cleared away.
