ABSTRACT
In this chapter John Carroll responds to the arguments that have been put forth in the other chapters in this collection regarding his metaphysical sociology. In addition, Carroll comments on the chapters that extend his work into new areas, including video games and Internet dating. He gives his take on films that are discussed by the other contributors, such as L’eclisse (1962) and Amour (2012). Carroll also comments on references made to the major influences on his work.
