ABSTRACT

In order to understand the intricate aspects of high altitude extreme sports, people need to understand the background of high altitude sports and assess the critical aspects of high altitude living. In a number of sporting events, humans have been able to adapt. Depending on the route, conditions and competition type, all the above sports could range from simple sports to more complicated ones. Higher degrees of complexity would turn these sports into extreme sports. In snowboarding, sportspersons are attached to the board and slide down snowy mountains and perform stunts while gliding through the snow. It is an integral part of the Olympic games and can be done either in races or freestyle events. Snowmobiling involves motorised skiing in snow. Engine powered vehicles are used to compete in such events and/or freestyle events. In short, snowmobiling is similar to riding a motorcycle on snow.
