ABSTRACT
Similarity transformations are really quite useful because they allow partial differential equations, even nonlinear ones, to be reduced to ordinary differential equations. However, all similarity transformations cannot be discovered by the methods of dimensional analysis, and it is worthwhile to consider how to find a similarity transformation.
