ABSTRACT
In Chapters 8 and 9 a model close to that of Volume 2 was supported in two experiments. In Chapter 10, ten new operations and an executive were introduced. The two sets of operations were tested separately. It is necessary to determine whether the two models can be combined into one set of operations in the correct order. Some additional operations have also been included. To test proposals about the intercalation of operations, we shall use arguments that rely on at least one operation from each of the sets figuring in Experiments 1 and 3.
