ABSTRACT
The purpose of this section is to highlight the global reach of nanotechnology. However, for many developing countries little to no attention is paid to nanotechnology. Indeed, for some countries the only source of nanotech information are articles written about nanotechnology by scientists or others from one of these countries or regions or, an article or report is written about the application of nanotechnology in that country. (Please refer to Appendix 1 for a list of these countries.)
