ABSTRACT
The concluding chapter by V. V. Krishna brings attention to three types of universities in the Asia Pacific region with distinct roles in the respective national innovation systems. Case studies have thrown up several lessons of learning for positioning universities as new frontiers of innovation in the 21st century.
