ABSTRACT

Rendering and render settings have been confined to the Blender internal Render Engine. There are external render engines which may be used to render Blender files but Blender incorporates the Cycles Render system. Cycles simulates many effects that have to be specifically added to other methods of rendering such as soft shadows, depth of field, motion blur, caustics, ambient occlusion and indirect lighting. Implementation of a Tenderer including these effects is simpler. The UV Sphere and the Monkey have smooth shading applied and the Cube has been scaled up and elongated and subdivided with several faces deleted on the back side. The Scene that has been created shows the Monkey and Cube placed next to a window. This is in Camera View. The effect of Sky Lighting is to create an ambient light effect which is the overall lighting effect from the sky In the natural world.
