ABSTRACT
I sum up the outcomes of the chapters and go on with the question of the continuity between the late medieval and early modern colonialism already mentioned in the introduction. The nature of my thesis does not allow me to go into this field in detail, so in this sense, the second part of the conclusion is more about posing questions and articulating problems than about defending results of some additional research. However, the direction into which these questions can bring my research interests seem promising to me.
