ABSTRACT

In five or ten years' time youth will have taken over all the offices in Bolshevia. So that both as regards the danger of war and the danger of terrorism, time works on the side of the Bolsheviks. The Bolsheviks have not in their own country any strong anti-Bolshevik organizations. The Tsarist Government was aware of the internal opposition to its policy, and consequently was conscious of the power it wielded. It even vastly over-estimated its importance. Tsar Nicholas II in Tobolsk was convinced that the Germans wanted to capture him and force him to sign the treaty of Brest. Bolshevik youth has outdistanced its leaders both in matters of doctrine and in its application to the uttermost consequences. Bolshevik youth is obtaining more and more posts, and constantly more important posts, in the work of the State—which means, in Bolshevia, work in general.
