ABSTRACT
This introduction presents an overview of the key concepts discussed in the subsequent chapters of this book. The book explores definition of the term excellence from both an organizational perspective and, equally, as a part of the strategic objectives of the educational space. It explores the fact that every process has its hiccups that cause the process to break down, sometimes slightly, sometimes dramatically. The book looks at the impact on an elementary level regarding the principles that govern how the authors implement the changes to our organizations. It discusses our deep dive into the Six Sigma methodology by reviewing the method from the creation of a project to its successful completion. The book also discusses to transform students' organization into a Lean Six Sigma principled one. It explains a hierarchy of the exact steps to achieve the goal.
