ABSTRACT
Aerial photographs of the west bank of Suez make the Chief of Staff change his mind. He is no longer satisfied with the Intelligence Branch conclusion: “The probability of war is low.” He tells the intelligence officers: “You say there is no proof that war is imminent. Do you have positive evidence that there won’t be a war?”
