ABSTRACT
The main purpose of this paper is to summarize the persistent and changing components in the Zionist ideology and political praxis that refer to territory, by using some analytical concepts that will be presented and developed. I shall analyze systematically the period beginning with the initial stage of the Jewish settlement of Palestine and ending with the preliminary consequences of the recent peace treaty between Egypt and Israel.
