212At this point the contributions made by the psychological evaluations may be considered. However, for this consideration to be meaningful, allowance must be made for such nebulous factors as these: differential diagnosis, personality strengths and weaknesses, interests, talents, hobbies, tolerances, interaction with the particular therapist; and the fortuitous circumstances with which the patient may be involved before, during, and after the course of treatment. Let us consider several of these factors with respect to the case histories that have been presented.
