ABSTRACT

Although social psychology, sociology, and anthropology are still rela tively undeveloped sciences, they have been shown to possess very con siderable social power. For example, since industry has gone in for "human relations," it has become more difficult for labor organizers to do their work. Again, the dissemination of knowledge about the social-class struc ture of the United States has helped to reduce the outward differences among the classes.
