The aforementioned epidemics are undoubtedly unexceptional and are repeated in other times and under other circumstances. In this regard, quite reasonable is the opinion of Prof. I.A. Sikorskii, according to whom we encounter something entirely analogous in certain sectarians, particularly the Khlysts, Dukhobors, and Skoptzy. *
