ABSTRACT
We must generally acknowledge that, since the majority of people cannot withhold unintentional resistance to outside psychic influences, it is then natural that the act of suggestion in the waking state is, to greater or lesser extent, far from being immediately successful for everybody. For execution of suggestion in these cases, the above-mentioned preparatory situation, which eliminates unintentional resistance on the part of the person subjected to suggestion, is necessary.
