KENNY. This lecture will be a question-and-answer session among ourselves, and I’d like to begin by explaining the batting order. You will remember that we’ve been, some of us, rather shy about offering a definition of mind, but I think there have emerged four different criteria for distinguishing minds from non-minds which could be put in order like this:
