ABSTRACT
I have been requested by the author of this stimulating book on The Idea of War and Peace in Contemporary Philosophy to make such remarks upon this theme and his handling of it as seem to me appropriate. In fact, he has been kind enough to give me carte blanche so that I could go ahead and present my own philosophical views. If I am not mistaken, these are, in many ways, similar to his own.
