ABSTRACT

The "Mankind framework" is the only one that satisfies the moral as well as the practical requisites of freedom and dignity for all people regardless of social standing, economic level, religious belief, or political allegiance. The years since the Second World War have provided ample evidence that by itself larger organization does not signify progress for Mankind. Liberal education should deepen in students the awareness that, as human beings, they are a part of Mankind, not only in a numerical, but also in a spiritual sense. Although the people would still be dependent upon leadership, in the Mankind age it would be enlightened leadership. The new world of freedom for the people must be envisioned and originated by a new leadership; but that leadership will emerge mostly from the broad ranks of the people and the middle class. The three dimensions of change, space, and time indicate some of the obstacles blocking the rise of Mankind leadership.
