Observation, Experiments, and Multiple Sources

To find out what’s really going on it’s necessary to use proper methods of data collection and proper research designs. Observation, discussed in this Chapter and document analysis (covered in Chapter 15) are proper methods of data collection. Proper research designs are experiments, multiple sources of non-asking data (both discussed in this Chapter), as well as formal models and comparison (covered in Chapter 15).
