ABSTRACT

Fear of change, one of the conflicts of era, can be remedied by doing everything possible to help the individual keep up the illusion of planning. Prepare people for constant changes and teach them to plan ahead. At the time of marrying and planning a family, a young man is confronted with new duties and responsibilities which at the same time flatter and frighten him, make him feel both proud and anxious. Whole scientific progress, which is a form of better adjustment and a better way of life, was only made possible by the acceptance of new rules in thinking and concepts about the material world. The choice the strategist has is one between selling momentary satisfactions or types of long-range security. The study's purpose was to measure the degree of social maturity of American youth. Maturity has been defined in a variety of ways by many authorities in the fields of personality theory, education, and human relations.
