ABSTRACT

Strategic quality management occurs when the supporting quality systems have been established and are used to plan, control, improve, and monitor quality. It also uses the customer satisfaction program to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded. People become more and more excited as the roadblocks are removed and they realize that they can have an impact. Improvement is a relatively natural self-accelerating phenomena when management has provided the initial momentum, systematically constructed the tools and removed the obstacles, and continues to lead the pursuit of excellence. By continued dedicated commitment to never-ending quality improvement, thirst for knowledge and innovation, and the power of teamwork, all involved can be assured of a future filled with new opportunities, challenges, ideas, and individual and organizational growth. Products and services become better and better, and lead into new products and services which become better and better.
