ABSTRACT

The training tactics determine the action for the body and conditions for their actualization. The matter of training tactics is the choice of exercises and training methods as well as organization of training sessions and microcycles. From the physiological point of view the ordinary microcycles have to be discriminated into microcycles with complete restitution to the next training set and into microcycles with summation of loads. Exercise is the main tool of training. Accordingly, three principles may be discriminated by which exercises will achieve sufficient actions and will have training effect. Those are Principle of repetition; Principle of summation; Principle of duration. In the literature on training methodology a great number of various training methods have been proposed. The area of action of the principle of duration is not only the method of continuous training, but also the method of intermittent training, the interval method, and the method of circuit training.
