ABSTRACT

Zeolite catalysts offer interesting routes for the transformation of aliphatic and cyclic ethers or amines to N-containing compounds. The conversion of dimethyl ether and ammonia to methylamines on T-zeolites and the ring transformation of 2-methylfuran with amines to pyrroles over HZSM-5 zeolite is reported.
