ABSTRACT
The (normal) melting point, Trn, is the temperature at which solid arulliquid chemicals are in equilibrium when the ambient pressure is 1 atm. The melting point of the solid and the freezing point of the liquid are identical for pure chemicals but not for contaminated chemicals or for mixtures.
