ABSTRACT
Ion exchange separations of Sn from complex materials such as geological and industrial samples are in most cases performed by the use of strongly basic anion exchange resins on which Sn(lV) is adsorbed as an anionic complex with chloride or fluoride. Occasionally, separations can also be effected by adsorbing tin chelates on anionic resins or by the application of cation exchange resins.
