ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: The Chenderoh dam was constructed during the period 1927-1930 on Perak River in the State of Perak Darul Ridzuan, Malaysia to provide a source of hydroelectric power for the state. It is a 22m high hollow concrete buttress dam. Over the years modifications have been made to the original dam structure to increase its spillway crest level by 1.7 m from elevation 58.8 m to 60.5 m and its abutment crest walls heights from elevation 67.7 m to 68.9 m.
