ABSTRACT
Dry jet mixing (DJM) technology has been in use for more than a decade for solution of various problems in soft soil engineering in China. During last decade, however, DJM columns hardly reach 18m in length because the current state of construction art and construction machinery is unable to satisfy it in China. A new application example of the construction is described in this paper. In the example, DJM columns almost reach 23m in length by improving DJM pile-driver and construction art and using the compressed air pulser in the system.
