ABSTRACT
This chapter goes further in depth to explain the component parts of the MILC that were identified in Chapter 2. Areas discussed are aperture; shutter curtains; sensors, including the Bayer array sensor, and alternatives, such as the Sigma Foveon X3 sensor, the Fujifilm X-Trans filter, and the Sony Backside Illuminated (BSI) sensor; aliasing; a comparison of viewfinder types; and vision correction.
