The theoretical perspectives of the scale theory of social-spatial transformation, dual-track urbanization, time-space envelopes and the theory of borderland studies are applied to the Chinese cases. This concluding chapter revisits the key empirical findings and theoretical insights. Prospectus of urbanization, regional development and governance in China is also discussed.
